Had a wonderful birthday yesterday with visits from my sister Carolyn, brother Dave and sister-in-law Shanna, and Nicole's uncle Dave. Had wonderful meal and was fatigued at end of day, but it was worth it. Thanks to all who sent birthday cards and left wishes on my Facebook wall.

Tomorrow will be a very busy day with family because it's my birthday. I'm looking forward to sharing memories of good times with family. I'll write more tomorrow morning.

The sun is up and I can see the mountains! My two beautiful grandchildren just left for day camp. They're very excited as tomorrow they're going on a short Disney cruise out of Miami. So far I'm having a good start to my day - am able to share it with my daughter. As we say take each day as it comes - and I am. How about a good joke Ray Melton?

Having a sort of decent day,but received news that my energy level has dropped precipitously. So I have the perfect excuse to be waited on hand-and-foot!! Lynn is here right now, along with with Wade and Nicole of course. And Wednesday morning my good friend from Indy, Teresa, will be here too. Trying to make the most of each day ........ you try to do the same.

Just wànted to post a short message each day to let people know how I'm feeling. Today wasn't too bad - slept pretty well last night. I'm now needing CNA care more. Doesn't take much for me to get fatigued. Trying to take things a day at a time. And I hope you are too. Life is short.
